HELP WANTED
This does not involve jobs that pay for your time or work. Those of us who serve as Board Members for SMMRA do so as unpaid volunteers. We know that not everyone has the time or desire to be tied down to monthly meetings. However, there are other tasks that cry out for someone to take on as a one time or on-call basis to assist the Board and officers.
We have other needs for help:
Record keeping: Dues paid, etc.
Computer help: Some of us need help.
Meeting set-up: Arranging chairs and tables for meetings.
Distributing notices, newsletters: Within your park.
Recruiting sponsors for our website: Vendor support/links.
Recruiting membership: Holding member sign-ups, etc.
These are but a few of the ways we could use help. Please consider being one of those willing to help and to avoid burnout by Board Members who have to take on jobs that add to their workload, and for which many of you could easily assist.
